This is a project that aims to obtain digitally the full shape of a kite used for kiteboarding when it is flying in the air by a kiteboarder. The data obtained will be immediately available in a computer. The data will be processed and analyzed by a software. The kiteboarder will benefit from this information and will be able to improve its sailing performance.
Project objective:
To obtain digitally the shape of the kite in real time when flying
Project duration: October 2012 to November 2013
